Since moving to Iowa about 6 months ago I had been searching for a local plant shop to help fill my addiction. The Plant Dealer is that shop! Not only is the subscription box so much fun, but Jenna and her husband are so friendly and knowledgeable! I have ordered two boxes for local pickup and also made the trip to Des Moines for their end of year sale. All of the plants are thriving and added lovely diversity to the plant species I have at home. I cannot wait for spring so I can continue to have a surprise each month opening my boxes. The Plant Dealer is an amazing way to add many neat plants to your collection for a fraction of the cost of buying them individually. Not only have I checked many plants off my wish list, but their species form introduced me to so many options I had never seen before.

What don’t I recommend about The Plant Dealer?! First off, let’s talk about how you can pick your own plants! Super easy to customize your box. I really wanted the epi pin albo, and she delivered! All of my cuttings shipped to Middle TN without any issues. Speaking of shipping, the box was wonderfully packaged. All of the cuttings were in their own containers, in dirt/moss, wrapped in plastic and stuffed with poly fill. The containers themselves were also taped to the side of the box to avoid tumbling during transit! My box also included a thank you note and a plant care guide, as well as a sample of insecticide! I will definitely be ordering more boxes in the future!

The Plant Dealer is a great small business to support. I ordered a box from them and the options to customize your box is great, or you can work with them to get the best possible surprises for your collection. Their customer support is fantastic and they are super responsive. The picture I'm providing is a plant I grew from one of the gorgeous cuttings they included in my box. Will definitely order again.
